Pinecrest Farm is located in the beautiful Mount Seymour area of Tasmania, just an hour from Hobart and 1.5 hours from Launceston. Surrounded by peaceful hills and green fields, our farm is the perfect place to connect with nature and our amazing horses. By spending time with these gentle animals, you can discover more about yourself and find ways to grow and heal.

General Information
Fees
The initial 90-minute appointment is priced at $150.00, while subsequent 60-minute sessions are available for $120. If you choose to extend your session time, additional intervals are billed at $30.00 for every 15 minutes.
After your appointment, you or the person paying will get an invoice. Please pay the invoice within 7 days. If payment isn’t received, follow-up appointments may be delayed. Thank you for your understanding.

You can easily make bookings through our online booking platform. If you prefer, feel free to reach out via call, SMS, or email to schedule your appointments. We're here to help you!
What to Expect
After you book your first appointment, you will get a reminder message and we'll email you an intake form and a counselling agreement. This agreement has important information like our address, payment methods, cancellation, weather and risk policies, and other consent details. You can fill out and sign these forms online, or you can bring them with you on your appointment day.
Please arrive on time for your appointment and wait in your car until Meagan comes out to greet you.
NDIS
NDIS Participants that are plan managed or self-managed may be able to be invoiced for sessions if their plan contains counselling or therapy supports under the capacity building category.
Available funding needs to be confirmed by yourself, your plan manager or support coordinator prior to any appointments commencing. We will then forward invoices to the relevant funding authority for payment within 7 days.
Invoices will include NDIS support item 15_043_0128_1_3 - Assessment Recommendation Therapy or Training – Counsellor.
Private Health Rebates
Fees may be claimable for those with the following private health insurance policies, subject to coverage. AHM, Bupa, HCF, Medibank, and The ARHG which represent a number of smaller, regional health funds such as St Luke’s health, Police Health, GMHBA, Emergency services Health, Phoenix Health, See-u by HBF, AIA Health, Teachers Union Health, Teachers Health, Nurses & Midwives Health and Unihealth.

Please advise if you wish to claim on private health so the required Provider Number details can be included on your invoice.
Hours of Operation
We are open year-round on Fridays, and also offer limited availability on weekends at select times throughout the year or upon request.
Bathroom Facilities
Please note that there are bathroom facilities available on-site; however, access for individuals with disabilities is limited.
Alternatively, there are public toilets with disability access located in Southern Midlands Region.

Mental Health Care Plans
Unfortunately Pinecrest Farm is unable to accept mental health care plans from the GP as currently, counselling services cannot be claimed on Medicare.
